I didn’t have to ask a prosecution witness testified he did that not sure witness would lie on the stand.

Should be reserved for when theres irrefutable evidence beyond a reasonable doubt

like Nikolas Cruz and the dude that just shot up the parade should be death pentalty

Death penalty is stupid because we don't know what happens after death. Like if anything, you should torture or turn them into test subjects, but that would be inhumane. So just let them rot behind bars, its the only punishment that makes sense. Why do these men deserve the quick release of death?

So who the f*** shot The whip up

Melly shot them. The whip was not shot up. His lawyer will probably claim the self defense route

Just funny you need more proof to convince you he wouldn’t put a hit on his mom than the opposite. He had a message that included the phrase “on my mama” and they took it as him putting a hit on his mother.

Capital punishment should just be reserved for heinous crimes like terrorism

Than the tens to hundreds of thousands per year it takes to house a high security inmate? Not even remotely close

    I disagree

Fighting acts of terrorism (aka murdering people) by murdering people is just a loop

Locking dudes in adx Florence and s*** like that drills the point in that you will get caught even if you don’t commit the act

Yeah doesn't apply to mass shooters like Dylan Roofe who were caught red-handed

Well for instance Eric Holder was found guilty today for killing Nipsey and it was as equally undisputed he actually did the killing as it is with one of those mass shooters who isn’t trying to get away with it

But clearly there’s a difference between what he did and a mass shooting

So where do u draw the line between a “regular” murder in broad daylight and some sort of heinous spree killing? Obv you know it when you see it but you gotta be able to reduce it to a written rule that can be applied to all situations

I mean life in prison is the same s***? They literally don't get to live.

I believe if you can't directly kill the person yourself, then the death penalty shouldn't happen.

They do though. They live and breathe.

American justice system is dead ed to the point that the perp will walk in about 30 years.

It’s like the Ohio dude that flipped the bird to the families of the victims of his killings. They should have shot him there and then
