Life is a garden. Intentionally plant seeds that u want in your life. Tend to them. Some people are into plants, trees, fruits, herbs, veggies etc. everyone's garden is different just like ones approach to life. The most important part is that you tend to the seeds you're planting. Remove the weeds, do what's necessary for that seed to grow to its fullest.

No matter where u are in your life, plant that seed that u wanna harvest. Homeless, apartment, parents crib, couch life, living to the fullest, etc.

Stick to the plan. All Praises To The Most High

I realized that I haven't been properly tending to the current crops I have. Caught up in bs. Caught up drinking wine rather pruning the vine.

It's best to have your own garden than to constantly worry about another's. Unless you're in a team building a farm, being apart of "monsanto" ain't the move.

Because that gives you freedom, granted it is more work and requires a certain perspective to do well at it

Not really the business ends up being a whole new responsibility you have to tend to which detracts from any freedom

It becomes your money and time on the line instead of an employers

And no there is no certain perspective needed to succeed.... What's needed is usefulness and demand of the market

Dawg.. I wish I had a boring as 9 to 5 job... After like 12 year of bouncing around between s***ty manual labor and service industry jobs, a boring ass 9 to 5 in a cubicle with consistent work days (5 days a week, tops, and no split days off, ever!) benefits, paid vacations, etc... sounds awesome. After this busy summer season is up I'm going to seriously look into going back to school for respiratory therapy.

I’ve come to realize that I simply don’t like having responsibilities at work and need to become more disciplined with myself

    I like my 9-5 cause I work from home… but I do f***ing nothing

You don't NEED any of that. You should try looking into it before making judgements.

Well for me specifically I’m on a long journey getting better and better with my art so I can become a pro draftsman and can basically work in any field based off my portfolio.

Illustrator /concept artist /comic book artist. Having a goal and working in those fields would make me happy I don’t mind working hard if it’s relative to art.

Been studying everyday for 3 months btw but have been into art all my life

99% of people debating a 9-5 job simply cannot do what you said. It's nonsensical to think someone in ops position would have enough liquid capital to act as a bank in a sustainable way where he isn't overexposed to risk

I’m on that shift work rat race. 6-6 for 4 days, then 4 days off.
    I like it tbh

Literally everyone can do it. Stop projecting your insecurities on others.

You're arguing against facts you cannot perceive, while being demeaning to ideas.

There are so many diff things you can do what u mean op. It's p easy to be self employed or have a flexible job. Obviously just having a 9 to I5 is often more stable and better wage tho which is why people do it and supply often shorter than demand

I don't mean that things are all good tho but it's definitely true that there are alternatives. Just usually they are worse , but that depends on what u want and your situation

How about this, since you know so much. Produce a sustainable model of what I suggested?
