You need to spend time alone and think and formulate your own ideas , when you’re conversing and in the presence of a lot of people , you brainstorming together but your final idea will always be a portion of the larger hivemind, you’ll always consolidate, There is nothing in wrong with this consolidation in public but we have to know where you actually stand

When you’re with people you immolate and relinquish a part of your beliefs to be congruent with people just so you can be at the table or circle of conversation. That makes the least tolerant person a disproportionate amount of sway in public conversation due to their intolerance

Sometimes you really have to spend time by yourself to really figure what you really think

Reading books is the best way to develop critical and a***ytical thinking bcause naturally you’re not just absorbing information, the temporal time difference between when you read helps you keep their ideas at bay while you process an judge for yourself at the same time trying to fully comprehend what you’re reading

Read quality honest information and spend time alone to develop quality thoughts and beliefs

True, but it would still be better to read on paper. Obviously the internet can be useful because of how much access you have, but like OP is saying it’s not the healthy way to consume the majority of your material
