OP the first artists you mentioned are the actually good younger artists. The second half you mentioned are also in the same bracket but they just aren’t good and mid most the time. Doesn’t matter the age if it’s good music I’ll listen

Haven't kept up I just know his first like 3 songs.

Good to hear he is not going to gross Nf route

depends on the maturity of the artist, for example Nas on Illmatic still amazes me, now other rappers and trappers...

Exactly I don't discriminate against good music.

    Yeah. But im 21

So funny story man, before I moved up to the east coast I was at a high-end mall in Dallas buying some s*** for the move.

I was walking around and saw tons of teenagers and the way they dress now and present themselves. s*** is just wild to me, I've never felt more out of touch than now.

To be honest, I'm pretty grateful I grew up when I did because I have no idea what the f*** these kids are up to nowadays and they just seem wild not sure if it's just my older self coming about but jeez alot of their styles and s*** is NOT gonna age well, it's cringy lol

Nah im fr its not so much as an age thing as it is a taste thing

    Think of it this way
People like Lil Huddy, Mosey, and Tecca are rap for people that are new to rap(new as in they only started listening to rap relatively late; around their teens), it super accessible, extremely shallow, tame, and very easy to replicate.

If you were to ask someone that been exposed to rap since they were in pampers if they listen to those artists 9 times outta 10 they just gonna say no, they gonna say they listen to a youngboy or an artist that caters more towards people that live and breathe rap.

Lemme know if this makes sense

Yeah it makes sense actually, I do agree. Rappers that aren't just trend-tik tok bait do have staying power. For example; Polo, YB, etc. you are right about that.
