Null_Because they know Mac will never be compared to Nas, Jay-Z, BIG, Pac, Kanye, etc.
He will never be known for his “lyrical prowess” and more he’ll be known more for being a talented musician who passed way too soon
Eminem on the other hand, is in that conversation, and people are trying their hardest to push him out of the conversation because they don’t want a white artist to have a legitimate claim for the GOAT in Hip Hop
So they’d rather prop up Popular Non-lyrical focused artists (Jack Harlow, Mac, Paul Wall, etc.) or underground lyrical acts that will never have the mainstream legendary status or commercial success that someone like HOV has (EL-P, Your Old Droog, Evidence, etc.)

I kinda agree in a sense that I never looked at him as a great rapper when he was still alive. his raps grew on me after a while, but I do think he was moreso a talented songwriter doing rap music rather than a 'rapper' rapper if you know what I mean
