What he is saying does hold a little bit of truth with the whole tapped in statement in being diverse with your skills and make music with newer artists, don’t gatekeep. The problem with that though, is you put 100 people on and nobody invests in them and THATS why we have the same 10 guys charting crazy numbers. If the same people you put on, you’d also follow through and make them bigger, then there wouldn’t be an issue with making songs with new artists.. but people just make a song with said artist because they’re poppin right now and then forget about them tomorrow because they was just trying to get a bag rather than shaping the artist.
