Crazy how much he cares about sales when for a huge part of his career he could not even crack 30k
all that time he spent with Drake
he got Drizzraeli brainrot
Crazy how much he cares about sales when for a huge part of his career he could not even crack 30k
All artists care about sales its how they make money
98% payola is 100% pulled from your ass as an over generalization
It feels like this is more about your forum identity being tied to Thug than anything else
you can’t talk s*** AT ALL when your gullible ass just admitted to thinking charts didn’t get manipulated just as much pre-streaming
you only started to notice it because rappers learned how to manipulate the charts, not just popstars
it’s nowhere near as big as Stoner, Danny Glover, Lifestyle, Hookah, About The Money, etc. were, it’s just that charts didn’t properly reflect rap’s popularity until like 2016-2017
and you never said i couldn’t mention This Is America, so i’ll credit Thug for that song’s success too
Bruh this narrative you got with thug making This is America Popular always has me floored
LMAOO nobody believes that but you
All artists care about sales its how they make money
Yes but why does he care about Cole selling more or less than YB
Nigga didn’t do a single push up and spent all his time on the phone talking about niggas
All artists care about sales its how they make money
he cares about other rapper's sales though
first talking about Kendrick needs playas and lit b****es, and now he's mad on YB's behalf
Yes but why does he care about Cole selling more or less than YB
Cause none of them are friends like that and they are really competing with each other.
Bruh this narrative you got with thug making This is America Popular always has me floored

Thug’s outro carried, idc
BlocBoy JB & Slim Jxmmi ad libs a close second for the song’s success
third is the music video
Cause none of them are friends like that and they are really competing with each other.
I dont have the time right now to break it down but this answer only seems smart if you think about it surface level
you can’t talk s*** AT ALL when your gullible ass just admitted to thinking charts didn’t get manipulated just as much pre-streaming

I can still talk s*** even if me and you disagree about the level of chart manipulation rising SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER around that point in time
All of your points are cherry picked and because the artist you stan that you've created your entire forum identity around is on the backfoot
I used to take up for you in private when multiple different people from different circles called you a b****

I’ll let you believe that bruh it ain’t that deep for me because I agree with everything thug has said on this phone call lol
Cole about to drop a response and then issue an apology after
This is funny but yeah Cole can't even say nun lol. Bruh gotta act "above it all" for life now
Also didn't you call someone on Twitter a pedo and then have to roll out an apology letter
And I'M gullible

That’s why them EM numbers are insane.
what y’all don’t understand is, we’re looking at things from the perspective of fans talking about artists most of us will never hold conversations with or even come close to knowing personally
when Thug is talking s*** about everyone else, he’s talking s*** about coworkers he’s actually spoken to. maybe their vibes are just off irl.
This what Kanye Stan’s were saying about his comments on Cudi and Sean
Cole about to drop a response and then issue an apology after
Cole prolly still havin panic attacks from trynna diss kendrick
Oh he just trollin

thank you for taking up for me, please don’t take this argument personally, i just like to talk s*** & banter with people then move on. i probably won’t even remember this exchange in 2 days.
anyways, back to my point, i think the chart manipulation was super obvious pre-streaming to be anti-rap because that’s the genre labels were avoiding putting their marketing budgets into, and i don’t think that’s a hot take on a hip hop forum.
once streaming numbers started showing what people ACTUALLY listen to & which songs retain listeners’ attention rather than just being a 1-time purchase on iTunes, labels started pouring money into rap. especially 300, who had Young Thug, Fetty Wap, and Migos signed to them in 2015.
it’s not that streaming numbers are MORE manipulated than before, it’s that there was disproportionate manipulation from the labels away from rap before streaming numbers gave them new insights.
Cole about to drop a response and then issue an apology after
Thankfully he's not "brothers" with this clown so nah.
But why diss someone who is looking bad in every leaked call lmao?
He's a snitch after calling others a snitch, he feels entitled to verses he will never get, he's calling hot people ugly when looks the way he does and now he's deluded about which artist would sell more.
The gift that keeps on giving
Also didn't you call someone on Twitter a pedo and then have to roll out an apology letter
And I'M gullible
i can’t comment on this, but it should be really obvious to put together what happened. especially as someone from this forum.
gave is a stretch lol Travis did the hook and it wasn’t a Cole type song at all he jsut had a verse
I mean he kinda did, cole was executive producing smf. The Song was made on his tour, with a beat by t-minus who was doing a lot of cole songs at that time
i can’t comment on this, but it should be really obvious to put together what happened. especially as someone from this forum.
Damn. Lawyers got involved?
