All UTG edits with drums are so trash the drums don't fit with the verses or the vibe of the song which is why they're removed

it always amazes me how Kanye fans think they can make the music better than the guy who went to art school, dropped 7 classics and has Rick Rubin, Timbaland, No ID, etc available at a moment's notice

Facts only change I would make would be to keep the humming and car door sound under Kenny G's solo but whatever

"Your edits can't be better because Kanye's the best"

    Great argument.

    Listen to this:

And now imagine it properly mixed and that Kanye's placeholder verses were actual verses with that same flow and energy. How would that not be significantly better?

Yeah that's fair but I feel like they wanted it to stand out alone, I would've like a smoother transition

Same but once in a while they make cool remasters of the leaks

But this whole attitude of „we can make the final product better than kanye west and mike dean“ is soooo crazy

This is exactly what I'm talking about, this is f***ing trash

"Imagine if this was this and that was that" lmfao so just pretend that everything is ideally as I would like it not the actual music that the artist worked on for months then released

Remember when everyone was editing Pablo and making the "perfect" versions
Now everyone says Pablo is a classic

If y'all heard MBDTF stems y'all would be saying the exact same thing

The mixing on Kanye's projects have progressively gotten worse for years, they probably could make a better end product at this point

Exactly that. It may actually taste better to you but it's an insult to the chef and a b******ization of the food

If Kanye released that version you wouldn’t say it was trash. The structure is more sound, it builds up in more epic fashion, and the added details in production give it what it needs.

    You guys are f***ing delusional.

I've seen real music engineers listen to this and not find any issues with the mixing but I'm sure KTT and redditers know better. Only time I've ever had mixing issues with an album is listening to it with KTT

No it’s like eating food that actually has seasoning. You guys keep making excuses though.

It doesn't give it what it needs it takes away from the somber/redemptive tone of the song and turns it into a Yeezus-lite incoherent mess. You have a bad ear for music, the original was supposed to be an uptempo aggressive track but the final version is supposed to be somber and reflective, you ruin the essence of the song by adding all that s***

Man, the song strutucture on this has no sense. That's why Kanye probably removed his verse instead of rewritting to fit the album and let only Clipse on it. I know you guys are attached with the demos for listening them too much/not liking Gospel lyrics but cmon
