An as for edits, I dont see nothing wrong with them. Especially since this is hip hop the genre that was made off making changes to songs to offer something new. As long as it sounds good it sounds good.
The problem comes with making an edit and tryna pass it off as a "fix" to the original.
you gotta remember when there making those edits its probably the highlight of their week
All UTG edits with drums are so trash the drums don't fit with the verses or the vibe of the song which is why they're removed
it always amazes me how Kanye fans think they can make the music better than the guy who went to art school, dropped 7 classics and has Rick Rubin, Timbaland, No ID, etc available at a moment's notice
probably because he's put out two garbage albums back to back and isn't the same guy that went on an incredible 7 album run
Right the ketchup example is more like if someone makes an edit and puts something completely different in it like a drake acapella on closed on sunday.
But most of these edits are using the same ingredients as ye did (stems) to better fit them.
Most of the edits are hot garbage

If his albums are garbage the edits are an abomination
OP is real as f*** and everyone attempting to make these songs better needs to realize that even Ye’s worst demo is better than anything they could ever make themselves
this is bc most the editors doing these suck, not bc the songs sound better as released
Life of Paul is better than TLOP.
Sometimes artists delete certain parts of their songs because it won’t fit the mainstream mold. We are not the mainstream mold. The mainstream mold is OBJECTIVELY not great because it has to be scalable. And in its quest to not hatable to any one sub-group within the mainstream audience, it needs to be basic to thrive in such a large group. This is why what the artists release can sometimes NOT be as quality as the edit from random guy who doesn’t have millions of sales and a career to lose.
So I agree with you somewhat but there is definitely room for exception.
Sometimes it’s just fun to remix and sample tunes to be honest I don’t get why everyone is getting deep with this.

Because they act like it’s better than what Kanye and his a team of professionals did lol

Sampling remixing and editing will always be part of music and I think it’s waste of energy getting annoyed about people gassing theirs. Some people might actually enjoy them too. It really isn’t that deep imo

How is calling something trash making it deep

Not you but there’s man in here saying ‘don’t touch the album’ and ‘fans will never make anything as good as Ye in their lives’ like they’re being forced to listen to remixes. Surely if you don’t like them then fair enough and calling them trash is fine but telling someone not to remix/sample in HIP HOP is dumb as s***
Most of the edits are hot garbage
ktt2.com/hey-ye-sxn-i-just-made-use-this-gospel-amazing-2191 this one amazing tbh
Use This Gospel is one of the worst songs on the album so nothing can fix it.
Someone added a better beat to Closed On Sunday that is objectively fire. But that's the only fan edit I've heard that's good.

Listen more to TLOP extended than the actual album. The extended edition is actually what made me like and start to appreciate the original.
Something about extended versions and edits when done correctly help give a different take on songs/albums that the original doesnt offer and in turn makes you appreciate the original
