I've spent my whole life fighting the British colonies off. I won't enjoy their entertainment

Robbie Williams is the most lukewarm, British-sounding pop star I've ever heard. His fans try to say he intentionally didn't blow up in America because he wanted a place he could escape to. Bro, your songs charted and peaked pretty low on the list, seems like you just tried and failed.

Robbie Williams gives me such a better understanding of why someone as boring as Ed Sheeran is also a huge UK pop star

  • Thøm Björk

    Honestly wtf was paramount thinking

    Man f*** Robbie williams

the reason given for the CGI monkey is that they believe that a monkey would garner more sympathy than a human

that would make sense if not for every single other movie in existence with sympathetic characters

the truth is probably that early on they realized that a monkey would get greater sympathy than someone who looks like as much of a tool as does Robbie Williams

  • I was not born in the 80s and I do not know why this man wants to be seen as a monkey

Tbh I was surprised when I saw Facebook this morning how much the film flopped
And that Americans didn't know about him at all

Was a very big star over here, always thought he was on par with Justin Timberlake tbh

  • But I mean if u even look at rappers, where it not for TikTok

    For example 2015/16

Y'all was talking about Kendrick/Thug/Future/Travis as if they were superstars
People genuinely over here didn't know about them, not until they got really really big + memes

Like I can tell ya I c alot of them Country Stars pop up on my timeline I have no clue who tf those people are tbh

  • I think it's rather arrogance stating that;
"Ow he's not known in America, so must not be that big?"

Success isn't restricted to one area ya know

Just because ppl don't know Wizkid or Burna Boy don't mean they not big

Either those ppl don't give a variety of music chances from diff parts of da world
Or the type of music these ppl make just doesn't resonate with the audience over there

Artists still have millions of fans and sell out shows across the board

Not being known in America or Europe is no shame
