we dont talk about it here but YouTube became such a massive drama farm. every single small channel now wants to do 'takedown' exposés or talk in circles about tHe HiPoCrIcY of this or that s***. and they all have 4k subscribers but specialize exclusively in this drama anti-creator stuff

and those videos are popular too, I saw some vid uploaded an hour ago in my recommended that got like 40k views in that first hour and it was about anthony fantano hates hip hop or some random dumbass bullshit like that

its very unfortunate that theres no way to block out this type of content or for it to have some kind of obligatory meta tags, but at least not every creator I like interacts with these. I fr miss when videos like these were at least somewhat revelatory and not just regurgitated junk

They're now sometimes doing this thing where if you skip the first ad, it goes to the start of the video but it's a fakeout and the second ad starts playing anyway

This s*** has happened twice to me now. I do have ad blocker on my laptop but on mobile I use the app direct

youtube music, no ads, you can close the screen and listen. they even added f***ing mobile games but without those f***ing ads that pop up after every level.
