Adblock/Premium is one thing but Sponsor.block is also a necessity to enjoy youtube nowadays

Google used to have a contract with a company who would do like QA type s*** on search results (extending to Youtube) to make sure that algorithm changes actually were making the user experience as intended, but they terminated the contract a year ago which is why both Google (AI generated results for f***ing everything) and YouTube (no actual understanding of search results or related videos) are the way they are now.

And it won't be getting better any time soon bc they fought with the company for like years to get the minimum wage for the contract to $15/hr which is what led to the termination of the contract shortly after so get used to it
