I’m pushing it with ruined because I still spun them. I just remember on every tape I wanted less drama and it broke up the flow and was jarring at loud volumes. It’s done well on this album.

I grew up listening to dancehall as well (I’m Jamaican) and was never a fan of Jamaican DJ doing it as well. Always found it annoying. Just a personal thing - I have one of those ears that picks up every mixing flaw as well.
