Hip hop is much more exciting to study due to all the different styles, eras and origin stories of the creators.

There’s never been a musical genre as impactful as hip hop.
There has never been a musical genre that provides a glimpse into a lifestyle and culture like hip hop.

it's not something that should be critically a***yzed to the point where you're taking classes on bun b. that's the part that's throwing me off. i get a***yzing the music but seeing her criticisms on page 1 of chief keef, she's studying in the sense that there's a formula to "real hip hop" and anything that strays away from that is complete garbage

not sure what he calls it but just from the flow, drama and fact that he's rapping on other rapper's beats would suggest that it's a mixtape
