they sound cool but they don’t stick with me like that…and i think that’s another problem i have with this album. ik a lot of people seem to think that Yves’ previous records have some filler on them, but i only feel that way about this album. that’s just me though

im not writing this album off. i’ll definitely return to it over time cuz i fw yves man, he’s an amazing talent

Listened twice already, i dont think this will touch htatm imo but there are some exquisite highlights on this thing. To me you could only see this as a disappointment if you had extremely high expectations in the first place. Just cause its not better than their last or safe in doesnt mean its ass altogether, some bit of nuance come on. God is a circle, parody, operator, in spite of war, fear evil like fire and ebony eye are geniunely great imo, hell ill add echolalia too despite apparently being a hot take
