Jul 27Think this is a great move. The slides were the only design he was able to keep post-adidas, and I still see people wearing them all the time. One of the comfiest and most versatile shoes ever. Got a few more pairs when they were on the yeezy site for $20. Looks like they're $40 now, will be $44 in stores, but that's totally reasonable.
Hope they're finally finding a good pricing structure for the YZY stuff that strikes a good price to quality ratio. Seems like $20 was too cheap to keep up with demand.

It feels like everything Ye does now is the result of him thinking that the world stopped when he got cancelled and everybody has been waiting for him to get uncancelled so we can consume the same s*** he was on when he got cancelled lol
In reality this is the first time in a long time that a lot of popular styles and aesthetics in fashion are pretty far removed from Ye and his influence.
The movers, shakers and tastemakers are no longer former Ye employees or extended Yeezy family
People simply moved on.
