The biggest thing I respect about Snyder is that in an era where most big name filmmakers movies are starting to feel like AI made them (Dune 2 falls into that category), Snyder can still make a big film feel personal and suiting his vision.
With that said, this guy has zero clue about how box office works lol or even what is gonna appeal to people. He just has his vision and does what he sets out to do and I respect him for that in an artistic sense.

While his fanbase is pretty bad, I think the hatred he gets is just as cringe. Like I wish filmmakers who are just henchmen for producers to make whatever streaming ready bullshit they greenlight (which is 99% of the industry) got the hatred that Snyder got.
Also I find the fanbases for the MCU and Denis Villenueve to be far worse than the Snyder cult. Because their obsessive d***riding gets enabled by the general public.
Funny enough that isn't even a top 10 weird comment I've heard from filmmakers.

you say that but the Snyder cut of justice league is still the best thing to come from DC since Nolans Batmans. I appreciate that he is willing to do something new with a franchise rather than just give us the same s*** over and over again like Matt Reeves or Todd Phillips or Muschietti or James Gunn have been doing.
