a lot of the blog rap that jumped out in 2011 is still pretty okay and there’s a f***ton of artists from the time who are still dropping heat and new hipster s*** like old TDE, Pro Era, OF, A$AP, RK, Save Money, Sadboys, etc. are all still aging like wine

add into that Drake, Kendrick, Cole, Future, Thug, Sosa, new era Kanye, new era HOV, and you have such a varied amount of sounds that are developed and creatively fueled that it’s impossible to say the scene is better than the 00’s

you have more way variety and way more dedication to development of substance within that variety
