I like older music, I didn’t start listening to music seriously until like 08-09, mainly just hip hop/r&b and pop.
I truthfully haven’t listened to as many older musicians outside of the big ones as I’d like, but I still like to eventually listen. I do respect the impact they had on the culture tho

But tbh I don't really enjoy 80s hip-hop and half of 90s hip-hop maybe because I don't find it interesting enough from a musical standpoint (ofc at that time it was though)
