The Biden gaffe, while I wasnt the one defending it. Biden is just stupid, that speech he plagiarized was a speech he was citing throughout his campaign. The argument behind it being a gaffe is that Biden was so stupid he cited a speech so many times that he just injected himself into it.

I can't really relate but thats the reasoning behind it being a "gaffe". Personally, it's the stupidest thing I've ever heard even if it makes a semblance of sense.

I'll try to be succinct instead of rambling like normal. (I failed)

Whats morally reprehensible about Synopsis is his inability to be objective and fair in his discussions of topics.

Now politics aside. Biden has been accused of 7 incidents of inappropriate touching stated to be non-sexual by all parties involved (I removed Tara Reade's because she's no longer credible). He has admitted to this and apologized, stating that he will do better going forward.

Now, Biden has also been recently accused of 2 cases of sexual misconduct, both largely discredited as of this date.

The second incident, Synopsis brought up immediately, most likely because it was circulating on leftist twitter. He didn't wait for it to be vetted, he went with his gut feeling that Biden was a rapist and sexual predator and immediately used it as an attack. When these claims were debunked by the fact that Biden was not even present at the event stated, Synopsis was nowhere to be found. Didn't renege on his claims, and just left.

And the first incident, regarding Tara Reade. Synopsis is trying to use the claims of a woman who has committed perjury by falsifying a bachelors degree and lying about her position working with Joe Biden, stating she worked alongside him to create the Violence Against Women Act (She didn't), alongside several other lies regarding the actual case, and just simple factoids of her life.

I'll try to provide a short list involving only the case.
1. Lying about whether her complaint even existed in order to get Biden to release his University of Delaware files.
2. Lying several times about why she left/was fired from Capitol Hill (She was fired and gave differing reasons for each scenario).
3. The fact that each of her witnesses had either changed stories alongside her or had to update a preexisting story when given further information.
4. The alcove that she described the assault occurring not even existing. And the fact that the hallway is a moderate to high traffic area
5. Many Biden staffers stating that they did not work fundraisers and that Biden did not drink alcohol so the event Tara described being harassed at could not have existed.
6. Staffers arguing that Biden did not send female staffers to do menial tasks such as delivering gym bags
7. Her meandering between Biden knowing who she was during the assault and claiming "I doubt he even remembered me when I was fired" in a prior testimony when she only worked their for 8 months.

And the reason I listed these is because Synopsis, pulled a whataboutism using lies by Joe to argue in defense of his accuser.
If Biden, who has never been charged with perjury I might add, is also a liar. Then since him and Reade are both liars, then we should look at the actual testimonies from individuals who either bolster or contradict Reade's claims. Since Reade has no credibility, all her contemporary witnesses are also lacking in credibility.

So what we look at is the statements in bold above, since neither word can be trusted. And even then, someone like Synopsis will make a bad faith argument that Biden convinced 74 different staffers ranging from before Reade's incident to the end of Biden's tenure as a member of the Senate, to give testimonials combating Reade's. Highly unlikely

When we start using claims of sexual assault as a cudgel to attack people, it goes beyond just politics and into just being a bad person. There is no reason you have to bolster morally heinous claims to attack a man who voted for the Iraq War. It's just nonsensical, especially when Synopsis doesn't even care who wins this election. He has no stake but he'll happily use claims against people he doesn't like, no matter how false, to attack an individual. I just can't vibe with that
