Just curious, who is on the panel that votes for their platform? sounds like a relatively small panel
You can find some information here: ballotpedia.org/The_Democratic_Party_Platform,_2020
Anyone not listed there who is on the committee likely isn't an elected politician and is just either a delegate or a staffer of sorts. I know Tom Perez is the DNC Chairman.
SO to all the sheltered right wingers w/ white privilege that post in this section

DNC platform not only turned down medicare for all, but also turned down marijuana legalization, and lowering the age for medicare/medicaid
No surprise here, smh.
what if trump loses, accepts it and there's a peaceful transition between him and biden
Neolibs will start saying "i disagreed with his policies but he is a good person!"

I mean I'm with you that Bush should not be looked at as this great guy all the sudden.
But there's no way that Trump would ever leave in some nice polite way and then just exit off into retirement without talking massive s*** on Twitter/TV nonstop. The reason people don't like him is because he's an a****** publicly. That ain't changing ever. And therefore, peoples' opinion of him will never change.
The reason peoples' opinion of Bush changed is that his policies were f***ed up. Personality wise though he was always a seemingly chill dude. And thus, you take him out of office and add a few years to get people to forget about his policies, and all that's left for mainstream people that don't pay attention to history is that chill dude
why the f*** have mail in voting instead of just online or something is the online infrastructure that bad in america?

If 9/11 and the Monica scandal didn’t happen, the campaign Hillary had would’ve worked in 2004/2008

Mail in voting has been around for years. It's a proven process that works when it's run and organized correctly. There no way to hack it (contrary to Trump's tweets).
I would never in a million years trust online voting, on the other hand. Some Florida teenager just hacked Obama's account on one of the most high profile websites in the whole world. Imagine thinking that a foreign country would have no way of hacking an online voting system

the protection something like twitter has is way less than any of the government sites have over here (netherlands)

I mean, sure govt systems are going to be a bit more secure. But at the end of the day, if it's on a public database (which it needs to be for people to access it to vote) it's still not going to be top notch. And even private FBI/CIA s*** has been hacked before. It's far from impossible.
I definitely wish it was possible. It would be absolutely amazing and lead to such a better country if we could have more people voting that way. But it's just not realistic. Much better to just make it a national holiday, devote more money to get more polling stations, expand the number of days people can vote, etc.
If Rice becomes VP nominee, will she have to switch parties to Democratic from Republican? I’ve always wondered if it would be possible in the modern age to have a ticket that actually consists of two ppl from different parties.
EDIT: was thinking of wrong Rice

Plenty of good articles on the topic. This is one of the best at outlining where online elections have been used and the problems they've faced. From the perspective of cyber security professionals

Susan Rice is a Democrat. You must be thinking of the other Rice who was SOS under Bush
