    You're still being too generous

    I literally said 24% workers don't receive paid leave...100% minus 24% = 76% buddy.

These workers include private AND public workers.

    https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/03/12/as-coronavirus-spreads-which-u-s-workers-have-paid-sick-leave-and-which-dont/

PTO and paid sick leave arent the same thing.

Your numbers are still too high. Here are the facts according to the BLS for all workers (private and government).

    77% - Paid holidays
    74% - Paid sick leave
    75% - Paid vacations
    45% - Paid personal leave
    59% - Paid funeral leave
61% - Paid jury duty leave
    34% - Paid military leave
    17% - Paid Family leave

where i live everyone gets 4 weeks of annual leave and 5 weeks for shift workers (expect for causal work obvs)

    fairwork.gov.au/leave/annual-leave

basically saying it should be law more then anything

I agree. When covid-19 hit there were news stories on people donating their paid leave. Shouldn't even have to go to those lengths.

Like 90% of workers receive paid leave, it jsit isn’t federally required.

my job only receives like 1 week of paid leave so nah

Just curious for those of you that live in Pennsylvania: how easy and accessible is it to vote there?

I see that there's a Dem governor and secretary of state so I'm curious.

Wow, some more great polling this morning for Biden.

Those who thought the race would tighten after Labor Day appear to be very wrong so far

Ehh idk about that. I would agree that when it's a book about how Trump treats others/women poorly, is corrupt, says offensive things it usually just blows over.

But a book saying that Trump knowingly allowed this catastrophe to happen that has f***ed over millions of peoples' lives in so many ways (even if they or their loved ones never got the disease)...I have a hard time believing that it won't hurt him.

You're acting like the only people that vote for Trump are his die hards.

If those were the only people that are voting for him he wouldn't get more than 40 percent of the vote lol

If someone was going to vote for trump 36 hours ago

They are going to vote for him now

You think they’re like “damn I thought he was a good guy but THIS is what does it for me”

If you're looking to vote by mail, it depends on the state you live in

The letters Kim Jong Un wrote to Trump

Like the brief time we had together a year ago in Singapore, every minute we shared 103 days ago in Hanoi was also a moment of glory that remains a precious memory. Such a precious memory that I have in my unwavering respect for you will provide impetus for me to take my steps when we walk toward each other again someday in the future.

i downloaded a form from vote.org for an absentee ballot, I’m not sure if those are the same thing. I’m prolly just going to go in person if they have one
