Only way I’d like to VP Warren would be if he did it right now because it’d lock up Warrens 10-14% of the vote which would basically lock up the nomination for him.

I'd imagine that Bernie X Warren would be strong. The only annoying thing is that Trump would go off about the Native American thing.

Warren isn't progressive enough or young enough and that's what Bernie said he wanted in a VP. So honestly I'd think it'd go to Nina Turner honestly. If AOC was older though...

Only problem with Nina is that if Bernie doesn't have the majority of delegates going into the convention, the party will 100% try to force her off the ticket. Look at what the democrats did to Henry Wallace, and FDR was an incumbent

if he doesnt have a majority he's f***ed anyway lol

Nah, he probably wont get the 50+1 but if he does like 45% they can't steal it from him and not expect literal riots

In general she just comes off to me as though she cares more for the lives of the American troops as she see's those as valuable lives though would not be at all against the use of drones in a foreign country (unless she's said otherwise) as she's stated before that she's a "hawk" when it comes to terrorism

I do think she'll get the position of secretary of state though no matter my opinions on her

"Her defense of torture: In a 2015 interview when the CIA report about use of torture came out, she said she was conflicted about the report. She has been asked to clarify her stance about it and she has. The CIA report was new, when the interview happened, but her stance is clear. After she reviewed the report, she voted (back in 2015) for H.R. 1735, including the amendment to the 2016 NDAA, codifying President Obama’s executive order banning enhanced interrogation/torture methods. This ban solidified our commitment to United States law and international agreements.|

Don't really think she's a hawk and never read anything about her supporting drone strikes. Imo, her voting record(and her reasoning behind whatever vote she makes) matters more than anything else.

Also Bernie himself is kinda s*** on foreign policy. How hard is it to come out against the drone program and not support "foreign aid" being dumped into Venezuela and other countries independent of US foreign interests?

Jayapal is born in India so I don't think she counts? Don't quote me, might be wrong.

Probably because hes worried about domestic policy moreso than anything
Foreign policy is definitely important but needs to be second fiddle at this point until things are fixed at home

he's not "kinda s***" on foreign policy, he's a racist. like that's just what it is. and that's why i'm not voting for him.

when it comes to drones i think she's still on the more reserved side of not wanting to use them or manned aircraft that bomb. like its the distrust that the obama and trump administration have had with drones that have her in that position. i think we'd see a big improvement with her and the US as a whole steering away from these long lasting interventions with high death tolls for our servicemen and women and other nations civilians

Foreign policy directly effects domestic policy. Supporting the mass murder of civilians in MENA through the drone program and CIA destabilizing "foreign aid" isn't excusable. Stop funding that BS, and abolish the CIA if you're really about it

She's been pretty consistent in her foreign policy. Thought the Modi/Hindu nationalism stuff was debunked, too.

    static.theintercept.com/amp/tulsi-gabbard-2020-hindu-nationalist-modi.html

    • She has lots of personal, political, and monetary ties to Hindu fascist organisations in India.
    • she blames genocide on the victims, be it the Kashmir occupation, or the massacre of 2002 by modi.

She was in a notorious Hindu cult revolving by Chris Butler:

    bylinetimes.com/2019/10/03/islamophobic-world-view-of-tulsi-gabbards-guru-revealed-in-unearthed-recordings-can-she-still-run-for-president

A lot of people of people said she left it a long time ago but she was seen there in 2018

    twitter.com/cjwerleman/status/1185301500605501440?s=19

Her supposed anti-war stances are based on wanting to stop Americans dying in endless wars. She’s perfectly happy to drone strike Muslim weddings or civilians who happen to be the wrong religion (Unless she’s said otherwise). She refuses to critique modi or denounce Hindu nationalism. Again her anti-war cred is 90% posturing, and she's against the green new deal and other progressive policies.

and this is what im talking about. liberals make the decision that the lives of the rest of the world matter less than the lives of american citizens, and have no problem exploiting the first world to enrich the first.

the other option of course, is to stand in solidarity with the working class and oppressed of the world and tank this empire by building a genuine workers' party.

Highly doubt even with as corrupt as the Dems are they won’t steal it from him unless it is within 50 delegates. Otherwise they know that Bernie supporters will lose their mind and that they won’t vote for whoever they give it to over Bernie
