cancelling student debt is a wack idea.

all for offering free higher education going forward but allowing people to just erase their debt when they made a conscious decision to take it on is shameful. do think a cancellation of interest on student loans would be positive though.

Who took Bernie’s talking points after seeing their impact in 2016. Who thinks millionaires are part of the middle class. And who’s now backing away from her original Medicare campaign promises. Who can’t even hold her own in a debate unless she’s given control of the forum like in congressional hearings.

I mean in many cases people made choices to attend schools they couldn't afford or jumped right into 4 years when it was in their better financial interest to complete core credits at juco's.

beyond that the fact that 'they had to in order to go to college' shouldn't be grounds to exonerate debt. with that logic any scenario where anyone takes on any debt or risk in order to better themselves should be forgiven too.

I’m def skeptical of green new deal for number of reasons. Nothings gonna come of it. If it passed hell will have frozen over. But it’s a bold discussion point I think that’s necessary for Americans to realize how much they are being f***ed over.
