Why are people so obsessed with detail?
Bernie: Cancel all student debt
Pundit: but how?
Bernie: tax wall street
why does this need any more detail
Because changing an entire system fired by just, ya know, happen
I think a lot of people prefer and like people that are popular for various reasons. But Bernie does resonate a lot with people because of the plans and talking points that he has. He may just be a little too past his time to be able to implement all this.
"not me, us" is his campaign slogan. bernie himself knows he's not the important one here, but the people are. if bernie dies in the white house, he'll have an administration and supporters ready to carry on

Who would be his vp?
No idea, we aren't at that stage yet but it will be someone who shares his vision

oh ok, thank you for that piece of infinite wisdom. im sure youre basing this on something factual
Utopian Berners in a nutshell here
You do know that millionaires pay far less tax rates than middle and low class citizens through the tax cuts and jobs act in 2017? And the dude in your avi cut corporate tax rates to 21%, going against his campaign promises?
I def agree that tax everything is obv easier said than done and can be a naive assumption. But ya boi ain’t doing s*** to help American people
cancelling student debt is a wack idea.
all for offering free higher education going forward but allowing people to just erase their debt when they made a conscious decision to take it on is shameful. do think a cancellation of interest on student loans would be positive though.

idk who it would be but I think warren and sanders on the same ticket in either order is the best opportunity to get trump out of the whitehouse

Man sold out the middle class for the nauseating Paul Ryan tax bill instead of fighting to close Richie Rich tax loopholes, it’s true. I just don’t see the progressives’ voodoo economics on steroids as the solution. But I really have no idea who I’m voting for tbh.

yeah
they took it on because they had to in order to go to college

bernie, a progressive, picks a progressive vp who aligns with his ideology
Elizabeth Warren LMFAO
who lied about her Native American heritage and made a cookbook with plagiarized recipes. Who lied about quitting as a teacher and pretended she was forced out due to pregnancy. Who was a republican most of her career and voted for Reagan era policies. Who lied about sending her kids to public school. Who actually flipped houses throughout the 90s. Who took Bernie’s talking points after seeing their impact in 2016. Who thinks millionaires are part of the middle class. And who’s now backing away from her original Medicare campaign promises. Who can’t even hold her own in a debate unless she’s given control of the forum like in congressional hearings.
I really can’t imagine who Bernie would pick as VP. Obviously Warren is the safe choice but I don’t think he’d go there tbh. Picking the wrong person would definitely tank his campaign. I’d hope it wouldn’t be someone like Kamala
Can we ban this dude already?
Did you not find it funny? Do you lack the ability to let the words “ha ha” leave your mouth?
yeah
they took it on because they had to in order to go to college
I mean in many cases people made choices to attend schools they couldn't afford or jumped right into 4 years when it was in their better financial interest to complete core credits at juco's.
beyond that the fact that 'they had to in order to go to college' shouldn't be grounds to exonerate debt. with that logic any scenario where anyone takes on any debt or risk in order to better themselves should be forgiven too.

I’m def skeptical of green new deal for number of reasons. Nothings gonna come of it. If it passed hell will have frozen over. But it’s a bold discussion point I think that’s necessary for Americans to realize how much they are being f***ed over.
