sure maybe in some vague sense some democrats have "adopted" some of bernie's less radical ideas. but as it stands they are under no obligation to actually implement them, and even if they could it would be in their material interest not to. establishment democrats are only interested in remaining establishment democrats. any concessions they may have made to the left are purely for show

You’re not wrong at all. I’m not saying the Pelosis and Schumers are turning SocDem. Or Buttigieg and Klobuchar either. But there are progressive Democrats running in elections all across the nation with pronounced leftist sympathies that were inspired by Bernie 2016 and who, even if they are just future pawns of the establishment’s will under a hypothetical Biden or Bloomberg administration, genuinely want to push things further left. Their platforms are definitely left of their centrist opponents. I’m not asking y’all to agree that the Democrats are a socialist party now. But the leftward turn of the last five years is real, and it’s reflected in the Bernie-like candidates that do exist.

NAFTA is the killer for me. I’ve not heard anyone here in Ohio say a good thing about it. People in the Midwest hate free trade deals. A lot of people just say “NAFTA took away my job at GM” and they’re kind of right.

Yeah I live here too and the state went to trump mainly because of stuff like that lol. Although the county I’m in went to Hillary

stop thinking in absolutes... do you genuinely think that the Obama presidency was as harmful to Americans as a republican president? Is Merrick Garland as conservative as Brett Kavanaugh? The DNC is scummy and corrupt but you're crazy if you think Obama (and establishment dems) are anywhere close to Republicans on the political spectrum. I feel like most people on here are too young to remember the Obama presidency anyways

of course obama isnt as bad as republicans but his healthcare plan and foreign policy were really conservative. Republicans in america are insane.

Americas democratic party(moderates) would be conservative in european countries

    absolutely this.

The republicans would be very conservative with right-wing radicals among them.

hell, Bernie is not even radical. He's a social democrat, which is still an ideology that works with capitalism.

the person who continues the meme actually put her there as a "premonition" of the next person to drop out. he didn't expect that like 7 other candidates would leave before her

    Blame the youth

Our generation truly doesn’t care. If they did Bernie would clean sweep this election. Not enough 18-28 year olds are participating in the election process
