i’m actually feeling pretty confident on all of this btw, i think people are overestimating the surge Biden has and also overestimating how much Biden inspires people to actually come out and vote (which i would say he does very little of, outside of places like in S.C., which have their politics very wrapped up in church to encourage turn out, and other cases)

  • bernie

  • bernie inspires people to vote. i think that plenty of “blue no matter who” people will be sitting out of primaries just because they will take any nom and how the cast has thinned considerably. especially wit the recent narrative that Biden is doing so well, i think a lot of people are going to take that at face value and think they will just vote for Biden after he gets the nom

wouldn't be shocked if California seems a lot closer than it will be

Biden voters aren't early voting and their counting early ballots and mail in over the next week or two

I’m with you 100%. People have been overreacting way too much during these primaries the entire time. Bernie is going to hang strong.

People want to now spin Pete and Klob dropping out as a conspiracy against Bernie, but Biden/Bloomberg being the last establishment opposition is a positive.

  • there are not enough democrat weirdos in the southern states for bernie to do well tonight
all the weirdos in the south are republicans
    bernie will get crushed

best part about all this is id say if bernie does well enough across the board (wouldn’t even have to be landslides or anything, necessarily) this should be his last major hurdle before the actual election kicks off after this they can shift voter tactics and strategies and the fun really begins

I think people are really trying to play down how hard “libs” will go in on Bernie if he gets the nomination, too.

It’s going to be a bigger snowball effect than anyone is planning for.

And the thing is, Bernie’s mostly losing in just the states that we’re gonna go for trump anyway so it works out

It’s not a spin when though when they both drop out and endorse Biden. Pete literally said he doesn’t want to be the only reason Bernie has an unsurmountable lead.

Bloomberg is too rich and his ego is too big to be swayed by the democratic establishment though. We have two “moderates” and two “progressives” in the race now. Of course Bloomberg taking Biden votes is a positive.

i mean this obvious but i ain’t even really put the two together really good look. no “tactical” sense in bolstering a base so hard for something that’ll inevitably be a losing battle come when it really matters. then you just wasting practical time and recourses going any harder than securing a comfortable base to hopefully get the primary off, at least

The democrat establishment is shooting itself in the foot with this Push for Biden. It looks completely asinine and ridiculous, to the average voter this is going to push them towards Bernie.

Everyone telling Democrats to make the safe pick is actually making it way way worse for Biden

Average person doesn’t like to be told what to do and they don’t like that Bernie won a bunch of states and the response wasn’t that Bernie was on fire, in fact no positive press emerged, but then when Biden wins one small state it’s like “HOLY S***!!! THIS IS WHAT HE NEEDED” it makes the media look fake as f*** and it’s pissing off the average American

Americans want Bernie and the media saying “oh well Biden has a chance” is just going to piss off voters. Biden doesn’t stand a chance and the media faking that idea is making them look like Fox News for Dems
