i think biden has a much better chance of winning than many in this thread are giving him

intra-state party polarization means he is basically guaranteed to win most all of the states hillary won (minnesota, new hampshire and maybe nevada are admittedly lookin shaky tho); he will benefit from not being the incredibly unlikable hillary clinton, particularly in penn/wisc/mich; trump has always been an unpopular president so his incumbency advantage is on the muted side; to be blunt, a lot of older people, who went more for trump, have died since 2016; and the country has only gotten less white since then too. of course many bernie voters wont come out for him, but then again, the same thing happened in 2016, and trump still barely squeaked it out.

by the same token tho trump is probably as popular as he's ever been and has his whole party behind him. over three times as many people voted libertarian as green in 2016; that won't happen again.

anyone who says they are 100% confident they know what will happen in november is mistaken. there's still eight months left. coronavirus might completely upend s***, too
