are you sure they didn't want him to win?
Trumps populist rhetoric scared them a lot. They didn’t know that he would bootlick them once he’s in office.
I mean... if young people got off their ass and voted this wouldn’t even be an issue
I guess it comes down to making voting more accessible. I feel like people these days are lazier than ever.
Lot of these kids can't be bothered to find their local precinct and do all this s***, especially when they're not even in their home town.
Old people don't care because leaving the house to vote is the highlight of their day.
I've always felt like there should be a bigger emphasis on voting during elections.
What's the point in elections if only half the population is voting? Seems like the only people voting are people that want something done, and that doesn't always necessarily mean a good thing. A large majority of people could get on board for someone who is a total s*** show of a person and they have the last say because they're the majority in this voting group, even if they don't represent the actual majority.

i know but even before they knew about his true intentions, they didn't put as much effort into stopping him to the extent the DNC does with bernie

Why are you doing all these mental gymnastics all the time to deny the obvious
read the past 20+ pages in this thread
That isn’t an answer lol
Most of the people crying rigging usually just point to something that just indicates moderates supporting a moderate is somehow bad
Why are you doing all these mental gymnastics all the time to deny the obvious
What mental gymnastics? Even in 2016 they didn’t do anything that could substantively affect the vote.
Most of “the obvious” is just moderates coalitioning with other moderates... You can’t even really point to anything nefarious at all, let alone “rigging”.
Youth turnout has been disappointing af so far, we have to do better or nothing will change.
It’s way too simplistic to say “lol young people lazy lmao” tho. It’s true to an extent, yeah. But millennials will have a job and school, and forget to carve out time to vote on a Tuesday evening. Most of us despise the Democratic Party, so plenty of people forgot to register as Dems early enough to vote in some primaries. UCLA had like two voting booths for 40k students. There are a lot of factors.
Maybe after 4 more years of trump our generation will turn that anger and those memes into more organizing and voting.
Motherfuckers will be dumb h**** for AOC too let’s be real
i guarantee you it is almost entirely because biden has been 100% less visible compared to Bernie being in the public consciousness in 2016 and currently during this election. i mean - i don’t necessarily blame them, off rip. should you not be acutely educated on issues that went on during the obama campaign and prior with Biden’s history (even discounting his failing memory issues) he seems like the “safe” choice.
but, just like hillary seemed like the “safe” choice. THAT is where the disconnect is, and despite all the slandering (much of it warranted) hillary received, it wasn’t enough to dissuade most typical dem voters. they are more comfortable banking on “safe” again, and dead ass i gotta imagine the fact he a man and directly associated to obama indirectly feeds into why ppl may immediately consider him a stronger candidate than hillary
Its no mystery at this point, between working retail and restaurants and dealing with people on the road, the average person is pretty selfish and stupid.
I'm not even trying to sound pompous or anything, but the lack of common sense I see in everyday life, especially as I've gotten older, is just sad. That's why I'm not surprised by things I read anymore.
I like to use video games as an example.
In every multi-player game you have like the top 10-15% of players from each team that actually knows how to play and use common sense. Then the rest of the team is virtually useless, wandering around aimlessly getting s*** on.
It's almost basically like irl. Except replace the skill in the video game with common sense.

Right, they purposefully make voting extra accessible to people that have nothing going on in their day (E.g: old people)
the rnc did not do more to stop trump 💀
was the rnc actively surpressing Trump voters in voting places to the extent the DNC does with Bernie voters?
“Actively suppressing voters” give me a break. More moderates are voting for Joe, it’s that simple
The first question of the first debate, by Megyn Kelly, was a direct hit piece at trump. That alone was worse than anything they’ve done to Bernie. Paul Ryan came out and wouldn’t support Trump I’m the GENERAL, let alone the primary. Mitt came out and gave a whole big speech on why he needed to be stopped. The rnc tried their hardest.
Teflon Don couldn’t be stopped. Bernie just ain’t got as much support that simple
What has the DNC done to stop Bernie?
for starters... removing caucuses
The Democratic Party is slashing the number of states that hold caucuses, which favor progressive candidates with passionate supporters.
More than half of Sanders’ state victories in 2016 were in caucus states, 13 out of 23.
Six caucus states that Sanders won in 2016 are switching to primaries in 2020: Colorado, Minnesota, Nebraska, Idaho, Maine and Utah, which favor establishment candidates.
I mean... if young people got off their ass and voted this wouldn’t even be an issue
You seem like a smart dude, start an organization focused in getting young adults to vote.
I believe in you.
Ignorance is bliss.
That line pretty much sums up american politics
That line sums up the whole planet.

Aka they’ve all coalesced around joe. That’s politics, baby. Grow a spine and fright it. That’s what Donnie did

WA switched to mail in ballots this year as opposed to caucasus as well if im not mistaken. not speaking either way tho

There won't be much anger with Trump, only laughs.
The only anger is what the DNC is pulling.

is that the worst they did to stop trump? asking him an uncomfortable question? lmaoo 💀
if that's the worst they could do then the DNC did more to stop bernie
Aka they’ve all coalesced around joe. That’s politics, baby. Grow a spine and fright it. That’s what Donnie did
Well the fact Donald Trump was able to get thru despite saying 'grabbing women by the p****' and confirming multiple affairs (like a good Christian man)
Says more about a majority populace than anything.

Reading comprehension buddy.
I used a low-tier example and said that alone, which isn’t much, is more than they did to Bernie.
they're pretty similar ideologically. evo has a stronger emphasis on anti-imperialism though
evo is an actual socialist and pro-indigenous politician. did bernie say s*** when the coup government banned him from running for senate?
