not gonna parrot doomer mindset about media journalism because it’s been done to death, but do you really think that my statement regarding them is THAT far off?

given everything that has happened to them in the past year+ (almost shuttered into GQ/forced into subscription service and ending of P4K festival)

all i’m really saying is that i don’t think that saying their claim to fame nowadays is scores for twitter bragging points is wild. if anything, i think they’re rap coverage (however mediocre the actually writing) is has done more good for smaller artists so idk where the pre scene of those guys are in this list compared to other artists under indie/alt
