And even that isn’t really fully true, lots of monolithic players are becoming more like background investors as opposed to active players while new blood in the industry take the scene. Think like, A24 in film - hot new kid on the block except they’re actually not at all and come from the oldest of old money investment-wise + still pair with to promote older production companies
