"The Spectacular Now" probably one of the nicest coming of age movies along with "Me, Earl & The Dying Girl"

not directed towards you but what were the weinsteins and miramax doing in the 90s bringing arthouse films to the U.S. if not the same (although they were more of control freaks than A24)

maybe they're brave by U.S. standards but in europe, distributors fiend for this kinda s***.

I have liked most of the movies they put out.
certainly are maybe overhyped because the crowd they have attracted is this new age young movie goer who is tired about amusement park movies like past comments have said, and that fan base can become a bit annoying at times, but it is not a bad thing, what a24 has done is commendable.

Outside of A24, are there any other indie film production companies worth checking out?
