    "Swear the panel."

    We've got a jury in A$AP Rocky's assault with a firearm trial.

The catch is they still have to pick four alternate jurors.

    That process begins now.

"Three alternates have been sworn in. One woman is an entertainment lawyer.

One more alternate to go. Opening statements should be tomorrow."

I hope Rocky can work out an agreeable plea, I know he wants to avoid any prison time but leaving your freedom up to a jury is some scary s*** even if you are confident in your innocence/lawyer.

The defense indicated that Rihanna may attend a day of the trial.

A$AP Rocky Rejected Plea Bargain Because It Was a Career Ender

"A$AP Rocky rejected the prosecution's plea deal because it would have ended his career, TMZ reports.

Despite being offered three years of probation, a seven-year suspended prison sentence and 180 days in county jail if he pled guilty to one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, sources say that Rocky believed doing so would lead to the end of his many endorsement deals.

Though he is facing a maximum of 24 years in prison for the charges, the prosecution says they will recommend a 10 to 12-year sentence if the Harlem rapper is convicted of shooting at A$AP Relli in November of 2021"

"One Rocky source with direct knowledge tells TMZ, "This would effectively end his career because he would lose all of his endorsement contracts, including Gucci, Puma, the Met Gala and, most important, he would not be able to tour and his career would be over."

The source added, "They would have him under their thumb for over 8 years."

This case is actually very similar to the Tory/Meg case.

And now it looks like if Rocky's found guilty, the prosecution is gonna want him to do at least 10 years just like Tory.

the judicial system is so f***ed

An altercation where no one was seriously injured should never result in a 10-year jail sentence

Arrested Development character-tier behavior, Rocky is going straight to jail
