You def won't be able to get the same GA/floor type of seating at the same price point in the stadiums, it'll be 2x more. Basically his biggest fans got booted out of really good seats to accommodate for more seating and they probably won't be able to spend the $500-$1000 a ticket for the super close floor seating that stadiums will charge

Knowing Abel he probably won't, but I think he could somewhat remedy himself by biting the bullet and losing some money by asking the venue to not overcharge tf out of us who paid decent money for decent seats

same here, spent too much money on second row tix and held on for years in hopes of seeing the weeknd. they were going for double or triple in secondary market…pretty lame to hear he cancelled for a bigger show when he didn’t even sell out all the dates. I just wanted to experience the show at the garden

I'm just reporting on what many XO have said about their issues. I'll be getting a refund but this is still messed up, bro. Don't even get me started on all of us who bought flights, hotels, etc in prep for the tour. Some of it can be refunded, but some will only be given credit and regardless for him not to show any empathy or apologize isn't cool. Shows XO where we stand with him I guess

Like I said,its a double edged sword.

Yes it sucks that it got delayed,and yes many(including myself) had already started planning the trip(I have to fly to another country).
It sucks that some people can't see him now.
But everyone got a refund,that credit stuff isn't his fault.

He also added shows on 4 other continents.And the venues are bigger,so more fans will get the chance to see him.
If it was delayed for another arena the tickets would probably be valid.

This situation isn't black or white and to act like that is disingenuous.Painting him like some villain that is gonna collect your money(even tho he gets paid with commission not with ticket sales) sucks lol.

Dude, many of us bought Tour passes through his merch store and those aren't being refunded. We literally had our money stolen. I never called him a villain but what I am doing is holding him accountable

Some XO on Reddit contacted his merch team about the passes and screenshotted an email saying they won't be refunded. Either way, we can just agree to disagree at this point, it's clear we share differences in opinion

They wont be getting refunded because all sales are final as stated when you buy the product.

They will still be valid to use in your respective venue.

Pro tip contact your bank and they'll refund you

An apology, like many other global superstars (Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, etc) have announced when canceling shows, would have gone a long way. Instead, he cancels, ignores XO who are clearly devastated and then tweets about new music he wants to profit from. It's the out of touch perspective for me.
