I thought the 1st half was cool but it took it's time setting up everything but once that 2nd half hit oh s*** it was relentless I loved it
did your screening have a post credits scene?
Maybe im thinking too deep into it, but seeing Spiderman from the Insomniac games in there and him talking was a trip. Does that mean the multiverse is canon in that game now? How tf they gonna explain that in the next game? Lol
I think it's mostly a little joke tbh
same way i felt. The plot really started kicking in when the got to the indian spidermans universe but that first half was cool just setting up the emotional stakes
Yah I loved the convos with his parents they were pretty authentic
did your screening have a post credits scene?
None, only a "miles will return in beyond the spider verse" thing

okay cool yeah i was kinda surprised it didn’t, but also glad at the same time? That ending was perfect set up.

Yah I'm happy it didn't have a post credit scene these are played out
How was scarlet spider
some of the funniest lines ngl he shoulda just been in it more lol
Can’t lie the audience seemed pisseddddd at the ending in my screening
I thought it was perfect
I thought the child saying “I don't wanna wear this anymore” was Donald glover pitched up and a fun little cameo but him in live action being prowler was f***ing nuts
so what’d everyone think of that twist?
It was cool for what it was but I forgot this was part 1 of 2 so I was kinda salty when it ended lol
That whole thing with Miguel on Miles ass telling him he was a mistake almost made me shed a thug tear

there could be multiple versions of the insomniac spiderman. the one we play with doesn't have to be the one we see here. Kinda the point of the multiverse
Hobie was the highlight of the film for me
Also was it just my theater or did anyone else feel like the dialogue was kinda quiet at some points, specifically in the build-up to action scenes or during them
