Thereâs something especially menacing when he tells Miles he will see him back home. Honestly his whole vibe as a whole after he uses the collider. It was very effective to leave his next appearance till the very end so the last we see of him reinforces how much of a threat he is, feel like a bar scene wouldâve been overkill
Edit:
This theme is just
the pemberton score is pretty insane...
the only thing that really stings about this movie is that all the set up basically confirms already that Beyond is objectively going to be the better movie and itâs gonna be all the cool s*** they couldnât fit into this movie
but 10 months isnât that long in the grand scheme of things so

this is only really a timed complaint though and wonât really matter when the next movie is out and you can just watch both but i do think they shouldâve kept the part 1 and part 2 in the titles for these
When miles says âYou were right Gwen, you should have never came to see me â
I was so hype
hope they put live action japanese spiderman and nicholas hammond 70s spidey in the next one somehow
Gawd the intro drum solo from Gwen
Peak
Casually putting the hardest animated drum playing oat in the first 15 mins of the movie
the whole thing with the counselor saying you âcanât have your cake and eat it tooâ and then Miles says âwhat if you have two?â being metaphorical for juggling âbeing Spider-Manâ and also ânot sacrificing the people that comes with being Spider-Manâ
then he literally tries to make a cake with a ton of stuff written to his father, and canât fit the words so he goes for two. Once he gets to the party the cakes are f***ed as him being Spider Man got in the way of the everyday Miles stuff and both donât go together, also meaning the stakes heâs dealing with literally go beyond what he thinks heâs capable of and adjusts the narrative that he needs to be more delicate and careful with his decisions in the next film
Phil and Chris are so good at setting up little narrative phrases that payoff in the story, and also reinforce the struggle characters are going through.
I don't get why people are saying it's out of character for the Spidermen going after miles. They literally spelled out the reason why they do so. They're all Spidermen who lost someone in their lives cause of their choices

exactly, Miguel went through a whole slideshow that in literally every universe a Spider-Man loses someone

guess thereâs a debate about whether earth 1610 miles was supposed to become the prowlers successor or just a regular teen
Loving all the little bits people have picked up, might have to watch again with those in mind and see what I notice.

Amy prolly made the call, prolly to intentionally confuse for the sake of box office

Video so racist lol, but he still enjoys the movie lol

Exactly like how?
Exactly like how?
The Story is so good he can look past the cast of Black, Hispanic, and Asian people
A great detail about Hobie is he says heâs ânon-conformistâ and all that, but the way heâs animated actually backs that up. The details on him are constantly shifting making him impossible to pin down and a bit of an eyesore to look at, but also animating him on 3s makes him way more jerky than everyone else.
Did anyone else's screening have pretty quiet audio throughout the film? Kinda made the experience a bit weaker because I go to the cinema for the film to be loud and explosive

It's a problem they have across a certain format I think?
