I am talking with this chick who is diagnosed with ADHD. Not super familiar with it since I don’t have it personally. Anything I should be aware of? She is hella cool and like it doesn’t bother me at all, just wondering if I should be aware of anything that I might not be already considering

Hard for me to explain myself since it’s hard for me to separate myself from ADHD and what i do because of it but heres a good article to check out

What are some common symptoms of someone with ADHD? I've always thought I had it, but parents never got me checked out. I'm pretty fickle and constantly want to do something different. Also, I have a decent amount of mood swings

    Check these two

One is a test and the other is a link about rating scale but i recommend that you read about the rating scale first but also its important to see a doctor anyway to get diagnosed

    healthline.com/health/adhd/rating-scale

    mdcalc.com/adult-self-report-scale-asrs-adhd

Good ass article. This really reinforced a lot of the tactics I’ve already been trying to do.

Luckily our communication is really strong and we are both very clear with our intentions and s***. We also help each other out and I account for her forgetfulness by recognizing she has ADHD and that nagging isn’t really a great option, I just try to like ask nicely for things and let her go at her own pace.

Imma look more into this though and try to develop some more thoughts on how to help remind myself about her circumstances and whatnot

that's prolly cuz you only hear about it from people who don't actually have adhd. I have never felt better in my life than i do with them. that being said if I can mange without them I would.

personally i had to quit stimulants because it made me really anxious and made my insomnia (on top of what I had to deal with) even worse. sucks because i can't really concentrate properly without,
i snorted amphetamine from time to time when i was writing papers but now i've taken a hiatus from uni because i can't manage with school work
