i like the shows subtlety. it wasnt too obvious the majority of the time. it was simple stuff like how jamie talked to his mother and sister. how he picked his dad to be his appropriate adult. the security guard tryna explain the therapist job to her.
Wow - been a while since a show grabbed me like that. The one take is not only technically impressive, but it feeds the story too. You're just in for the ride and it doesn't let you go.
Scary how good the kid is acting in this. Like, he's not supposed to be that good. Baffling.
it sort of resolved because he was taking him out for chips and cinema due to his worry abt him becoming like jamie
That’s what I came away with as well.
Fantastic show.
This was brilliant
The last 2 episodes makes me wanna just give the therapist and the family a hug
The kid has a insane future
Gonna jump into this soon..I. Like who's involved. Boiling Point was a great movie and shot in one take
Unsubscribed to Netflix years ago I figured y’all were above this as TV lovers.
They love the easy access to all that mediocrity
They love the easy access to all that mediocrity
Crazy how they blatantly are telling people they are making second screen TV on purpose
Just watched it today.
Really good
I really liked how they told a 13 month long story thru 4 one hour long episode s, that where in real time.
You had to fell in allot yourself and connect the red dots
Also the emotions the Kari went thru reminded me of the series “Dahmer”
I don’t believe this was a one shot, you can do so much with editing and AI these days
bro when the officer is leaving the school with his son then it goes across town and zooms in on the father at the crime scene
like how tf they do that
The choir at the end made that scene hit so different

great show prob the best 1 takes ive seen in a series form hope it opens up the loser convo witrh parents older adults every actor was amazing would be interesting to know how they all rehearsed maybe like theatre rehearsals 4 weeks straight before shooting hope it wins big at bafta also crazy digdat just this week got found guilty again of attempted murder at 15 (his first case was when he was 13 was gang violence but crazy timing still)
only part I didnt like because of that was when the detective was jogging slowly yelling at the kid to stop running. like bro just run a little faster
yh they were going snails pace needed to speed that up in post was literally like they were doing the cheeky half run jog accross the road when its just turnt red
bro when the officer is leaving the school with his son then it goes across town and zooms in on the father at the crime scene
like how tf they do that
brazy i need that camera ASAP I WAS LIKE THAT HAD THAT BRAD AS PITT BIG BOI BUDGET
hold on i just read that apparently there isn’t any cuts and they didn’t stitch anything together? wtf that’s crazy i definitely thought i spotted some cuts in there!
they used VFX for one scene in the entire 4 hours. very impressive!
what scene u know?
i thought the episode was over when the camera started going up, and when it was coming back down i was in shock that they actually pulled that off, insanely cool shot
they were like watch this
this kid is different man wtf
oh he really HIM
