i like the shows subtlety. it wasnt too obvious the majority of the time. it was simple stuff like how jamie talked to his mother and sister. how he picked his dad to be his appropriate adult. the security guard tryna explain the therapist job to her.

Wow - been a while since a show grabbed me like that. The one take is not only technically impressive, but it feeds the story too. You're just in for the ride and it doesn't let you go.

Scary how good the kid is acting in this. Like, he's not supposed to be that good. Baffling.

I really liked how they told a 13 month long story thru 4 one hour long episode s, that where in real time.
You had to fell in allot yourself and connect the red dots

Also the emotions the Kari went thru reminded me of the series “Dahmer”

I don’t believe this was a one shot, you can do so much with editing and AI these days

The choir at the end made that scene hit so different
