    i'm speaking less on popularity and more on.. mattering. a piece of art that is truly great is one that matters. you and i are sitting here talking about an album that came out in 2007. i was 9. i can entirely visualize the exact feeling it gave me the first time i heard flashing lights (a relatively deep cut) and nothing to this day has compared to it. do you think people are going to think about "po up.. drank"

    graduation was incredible I remember grabbing the CD when I was 13 and loving it, however I think GKMC is a better album and will go down as a better piece of work.

    good morning, stronger, good life, flashing lights, champion, i wonder, can't tell me nothing, homecoming, and everything i am are all cemented on the hip hop pantheon for all of eternity. no one will be running around in 2040 going "i'm really really real" and "comptoon.. comptooon."

    GKMC is the worst album to do this Graduation equivalency with. GKMC has so many slaps that stuck with the culture

    I'm in LA so maybe I'm biased but you pull out BDKMV, Backseat Freestyle, Money Trees, Swimming Pools, Maad City, everyone goes crazy, even a decade later. That album has hella longevity and the numbers back it up.
