Kinda don't like that this got moved to the politics section...don't really think it fits. I get why it doesn't fit in life either though. But politics section kinda killed the traffic here.

There's footage of him going to an open house, but he was barely there 5 minutes. Not enough time to really take something, it also doesn't appear that he took anything, and entering a construction site isn't necessarily a crime unless he did take something, which again doesn't appear to be the case.

But a citizen can only use reasonable force to detain a person and deadly force cannot be used unless it’s to prevent a forcible felony or for self-defense.

So there's no basis for anything the murderers did.

Glynn County police records include no recent reports of house burglaries in Satilla Shores. The only report of that kind was a Jan. 1 theft of a handgun stolen from an unlocked truck parked at McMichael’s house.

The whole "string of robberies" talk was bullshit. The murderers were the only ones who had something stolen and that was over a month ago, and what a shocker, he's irresponsible with guns leaving them in an unlocked truck.

I agree that there's still no justification to shoot him dead. But legally speaking, this proves that they didn't have any basis for a citizens arrest. Should be an open and shut case.

Then Ahmaud would not just be an innocent jogger, like every celebrities, a lot of people in this thread and twitter been preaching loudly about, before we got this security footage. It is relevant! It's wrong information to make him look more innocent. They said he was killed because of his skin color, but if he was really a burglar, then it isn't race related at all. It was for catching a criminal in action. And Ahmaud fought the guy for his gun.

Here is my take: If he wasn't a burglar, an innocent man died because of racism. Not a huge fan of him trying to fight the man from his gun and I do think it is a poor choice made, since I would probably done it other way if I was in his shoes. But at end of the day, the dad and son killed an innocent man.

If he was a burglar, a man died because he tried stealing another mans gun. They didn't kill an innocent man if that's the case. They killed a robber.

And I do believe the dad and son should face punishment for either case because death should never been the answer to neither one, but I do think they should get a higher punishment for killing an innocent man and milder punishment for killing a robber.
