I got out jogging around my neighborhood all the time. To think he was just trying to exercise and got killed for it is f***ing insane.

This kinda thing is a big reason why I would never feel comfortable hanging out with my rich white friends at their homes. I ain't come from much, and I stuck out like sore thumb in their neighborhood. I remember a situation in high school when my dad was picking me up from my friend's house, and he was just waiting for me in the car. Apparently my friend's neighbors walked up to my dad's car, knocked on the window, and was asking what he was doing there.

My friends would always talk about playing manhunt at night and s*** and I'd tell them all the time that I do not wanna do that s*** cause I don't even want to give his racist ass neighbors the opportunity to try some s***.

Flash forward to this kinda thing here, and it's just...it's real man. What needs to be understood is that white people REALLY do not spend alot of time around/near black and brown people. So whenever one of us are in their areas and neighborhoods their first thoughts are "They don't belong here" or "What are they up to?" and unfortunately in this scenario, it led to two racist white men chasing down a black man and killing him.

White people are dangerous. White spaces are dangerous.

The fact that random people can just pick up their guns and attempt to 'arrest' someone and then claim SELF DEFENCE despite instigating is insane man. Can't believe a young man lost his life to this and the perpetrators have yet to face any repercussions. The worst part is you just know these people feel justified in their actions and probably claim to have been protecting their neighbourhood or whatever lmao.
