Okay yeah, you got on the Fragment Travis Scott Lows. That could've gone towards tuition or a car, but you'd rather impress other people with what you're wearingAnd a nigga buying good quality reps is accomplishing the same thing at a substantially lower price
All sounds like a waste of money personally. I can understand someone buying a few expensive pieces of clothing, but to dedicate an entire wardrobe to it and also even buying replicas (which is really just a fancy word for rip-off) for $1k+ is crazy. Just find a brand that does something close to it for less (an homage).

Yeah, the scene is very materialistic and focused on flexing what you have. I find it so embarrassing and cringe when I go to a raffle and everyone's wearing their hyped sneakers for some reason
It can be raining and mfs whipped out their suede 4s just to get a ticket and hear numbers being called 
:I get some of my clothing at wholesale clubs and have still had people compliment me that I've dressed nice before. A whole outfit totalling probably $40.
Unless the goal is to show up these other guys who are into the hobby 99% of the other people these fashion bugs interact with on a daily basis probably don't give a single s*** how expensive their "super rare special secret limited time drop item" is.

Also imo the sneaker game f***ed up cuz niggas only go after like 2-3 types of shoes. Avia brought back some dope kicks from the 80s / 90s that I copped and I haven't seen a peep out of niggas on social media.
