One of the greatest games ever made.
Hearing that The Lake House is only around 2.5 hours long
If it’s 2.5 hours of peak then I’m so in
Is anyone on KTT playing this?
I plan to, I was gonna spin Silent Hill 2 first though
But then Silent Hill 2 was broken, got fixed and now more broken, so I’m probably gonna spin this as well as the Night Springs DLC this weekend lol
Beat it last night
how long did it take u?
im prolly playing tomorrow, wanna go through it in one sitting

Final playtime was around 1 hour 45 min, but I didn't stop to read many notes and I skipped a few puzzles. I imagine it'll take probably 2 - 2 1/2 hours on a normal playthrough.
yeah dlc is alright, liked the night springs one better. This one felt purely for the loreheads, 80% of the playtime is reading files, watching fmvs and listening to Estevez's quips. The backstory was somewhat interesting. While the new enemy type looked very cool & creepy, they became absolute pushovers 5 mins later. Found the final boss to be underwhelming also. Other than that the presentation & music is top tier as always.
Honestly after playing this and the SH2 remake, im glad they're moving on to the Max Payne remake and Control 2 next, I dont think survival horror gameplay & level design ended up being Remedy's strongest suit.
finished last night but im about to run through it again because i completely missed dylan

im a big lorehead and feel like this dlc even with the crazy amount of notes didnt really push the overall story anywhere interesting at all outside of the teasers for control 2
cool little self contained story but i was hoping there'd be some substantial push for the actual story of alan wake in this one
and every enemy encounter was a stark reminder that i love alan wake 2 until i actually have to play the game instead of reading
Been a year already
1 year of peak
Beat this last night, black rock gun is fire hope that’s in control 2. c2 and aw3 will be classics, remedy is on a hot streak and I don’t see them stopping
Thursday gonna be Christmas morning
