I can’t be the only one that loves Fountains, right?
It’s banger that came out a little too late… It’ll get play next Spring/Summer tho
Don’t wanna jump the gun but after like 6 listens all the way thru…I really want to say this is my fav project since 2015 and a top 3/4 Drake project OAT

Yeah that’s fair

Same

It's cool. Feels out of place on this album though
Yes, I just love arguing with teenagers over the latest kidz bop vol34
Finally some self awareness!
I love
Albums dont have to be experimental to be good, just done well. The tracks on the album are just ok, only a couple high moments that will be memorable months/years from now.
16. Fountains: the weakest effort from Drake yet on the International musical voyages he's embarked on since 2015, this would have worked better as a solo Tems moment than as a collaboration. An easy skip but I could see this eventually growing on me to a point where I'm able to tolerate listening to it.
17. Get Alone Better: the best R&B moment on the album, Drake and Ty Dolla $ign pick up where they left off on Scorpion with Jaded. Drake makes perfect use of Ty's strengths as a background vocalist and the result is a bold and beautiful staple moment any R&B fan would love. A perfect listen from start to finish.
18. You Only Live Once: An energetic rap moment with two other rap titans, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, the chemistry both artists share with Drake becomes apparent as soon as the song starts. This picks up right where Lord Knows left off and Lil Wayne drops one of his best verses this year. A solid addition with great verses from all three acts.
19. IMY2: A welcomed collaboration between Drake and Kid Cudi who share a closer musical identity than most people would care to admit, this is one of the most enjoyable collaborations on the album. Drake and Cudi take turns throughout the song and the result is Cudi's best guest appearances in years. I wouldn't mind more collaborations with both acts in the near future.
20. F***ing Fans: An addition that treads on the weaker side, this doesn't kick in for me until the second half which mostly contains more musings from Drake about failed relationships.
21. The Remorse: A strong closer and a solid contender for Drake's best outro, this is probably my best solo Drake performance on the album. While this plays, you wonder to yourself what the album would sound like if Drake could maintain this level of self-awareness and honesty throughout the album.
All in all, this is a solid album. There are 3/4 songs I would have removed from this to make it a stronger effort but this marks a glaring return to form after Scorpion. One thing to note is that despite me having certain songs I didn't care for, they weren't terrible listens or bad songs necessarily, they just did little to nothing to improve the overall quality of the album. A top 3 Drake album and one of his best-produced, this should grow on both fans and detractors as time passes by. I'd give the album a 7.5/10 with the potential of becoming an 8.5-9/10 as time passes.
Agree with fountains being the weakest. N 2 deep and pipe down will def grow on you
Top 10 Ye song tbh
Nothing on donda is even getting close to ye's top 10 come on. That s*** is disrespectful to his discography

40 didn’t have a large role in this project. That’s quite interesting
He was doing the mixing.
