they always say classics have to withstand the test of time and for me, these just stayed in the past. If I were to try to listen today, I’d probably still vibe but back when these dropped , you couldn’t tell me these weren’t timeless works I’d always hold in that light.

Everybody is different and certainly depends on the context, in conjunction with other factors. Possibilities could include OP’s music taste shifting throughout the years, subjectivity within the realm of art, and lastly, the reception online could skew one’s view on the body of work.
