taking time to fully appreciate albums doesn't mean you can't enjoy them and discuss them when they first release
im talking more from the standpoint of enjoying things at first, but needing time for them to truly become on that "favorite" level

Of course that’s normal but he said he doesn’t appreciate any album until a certain time. There is no way you should have to do that with every album. That’s clear indication of him not being able to judge music on his own. He has to see how it’s accepted.
I kinda tuned out a lot of new releases at the time and kinda wrote everything off except Heartless
but after liking Dawn FM I went back to this like a month ago and now I like this more
mainly for its consistency and its variety in sound apart from the 80s vibe (Dawn FM still good tho)
no such thing as late, you find it when you find it. why burn through all the good music in a short period of time, only to be left with tracking the latest (subpar) releases
