Ok I’ve heard enough Teezo to come with my opinion on his music. Teezo is the Alphonse Pierre of music. Both delivering the same level of mediocrity in two different fields and it’s upsetting no matter where it’s coming from. Only nigga nerds and cacs will become a fan of either one of them. If I was forced to choose between being illiterate or reading the entirety of an Alphonse article it would be a hard decision. Just like if I had choose between listening to a Teezo album or having a permanent inner ear infection.

Pitchfork hit me if you ever need the services of an elite hater and not this amateur hour s***.

Stopped reading when he tried to say that some people on here were Alphonse Pierre fans y'all really be saying anything

Ain’t no reason to pull punches teezo is kinda ass, niggas a journalist, he gets paid to write how he feel not be nice

I should prolly clarify that my point is that he should discuss more artists in this article cus I don’t really like random hit pieces on specific artists

"There’s a 2019 track called “100 Drums” where he unremarkably raps over Panic! At the Disco’s “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.” (When will rappers understand that liking one of the most popular songs of the 2000s is not as different as they think?"

Maybe he just liked the instrumental

this would be the case if alphonse didn't have his own column @ pitchfork where he spotlights mostly black underground acts that wouldn't get so much a mention on pitchfork otherwise

the teezo piece stinks and al is a notorious hater period but this is pretty disingenuous

Why not tho, even if this is overwhelmingly negative it’s only good for teezo, niggas itt who’ve never heard his s*** now have and know they don’t fw it, and on the other end are the only people open to criticism big artists, smaller ones can’t get called out for making obviously bad music

I will say that he does spotlights a lot of underground black artists that really fire and is why I started fw him. He covering the Michigan scene, random Florida niggas, MIKE and them boys. But once u go negative, that’s what people gone attach too. People tell me all the time that their fav review of mine is when I’m s***ting on an album and never a positive one

idk I just don’t think this was necessary. especially because his main point can be applied to so many other artists

Is any music journalism necessary, why would I care about anybody’s opinion on music but my own lol, its done because he’s inclined to just as niggas make music because they inclined to, he’s not in the wrong to do this, just like you’re not in the wrong to disagree with it

Ik bro all I’m saying is that all this hate could’ve been applied to so many other artists in addition to teezo like there could’ve been a good read in here if he didn’t focus on just one guy is all I’m saying

I accepted Alphonse after the yns interview

But honestly this is just what comes with the territory of being a hating ass nigga and pursuing it as a career path. For all the hating ass niggas on ktt that make being a hater their personality and aspire to be like Alphonse, this is what comes with it so be prepared
