My Turn out now!
the nigga who made that is the perfect description of a great value young thug
KTT becoming out of touch same way old heads were hating on the “mumble rap” wave

No not at all. The rap game is currently stagnant right now and nobody is really doing anything interesting mainstream wise. Just wait bout 2-3 years. Happened last decade
I used to be a bit of a doomer on the state of hip hop but I think the chance of talented artists breaking into the genre again is high. There's simply too much political and social strife for people not to be inspired to make art. Plus gen z has had access to so many musical influences and resources to produce their own music that you got 18-19 year olds with the skill of professional producers. S*** mid as hell rn but give it some time.

I like you bro but let’s stop this gimmick
Most of them are some garbage
Smino, Isaiah Rashad, and Anderson .Paak holding it down tho
this might be nostalgia talking but i think ringtone era > than this s***. niggas used to clown the ringtone era but we had prime t.i, wayne, and kanye along with some good one hit wonders
I like you bro but let’s stop this gimmick
Did you even listen to the songs
And it’s not a gimmick. Lil baby been one of my most played rappers for like 3 years now
Y’all keep saying this, what rappers y’all listening to? There’s hella I fw from this gen lmao
Theres a disconnect with every generation tho. I dont like Youngboy’s music but the youth clearly does. As you become older your tastes change too, circle of life
The thing with YB is he have stans that’s in their mid to late 20’s because he’s talking about real life stuff. I mess with Polo and he’s like 20/21. It’s just these dudes aren’t saying anything worth listening to and it’s been that way since like 2017. We’ve even seen dudes in their late teens/early 20’s on here dissing new gen rappers. We’re just tired of rap with no substance.

They hype up these fast food niggas then make threads being surprised when they fall off
Wait y’all ain’t fw Lil Baby???
It’s crazy cause he’s everything they say they want in a rapper.
They claim they want bars, substance, good music, no gimmicks
And lil baby has all of that
Don’t let ktt convince you that you’re an old head for not liking new gen rappers. A lot of these niggas are ass fr and they know it. A lot of these dudes are insecure and want to fit in so bad so they force themselves to like s*** because it’s what everyone else like. And they like s*** they think women would like.

Deadass tho. Pump getting s***ted on today but he’s one of the biggest examples of that. When will these dudes realize only real music is going to last

Fair enough
I do wonder whats it going to be like when the heavy hitters retire and its mostly turn up music
lil baby does have some songs where he goes off in terms of bars and substance don’t get me wrong but he makes very few of those

Just a step above all the garbage out really ain't saying much.
