he definitely is
This i can agree
Content is definitely his weakest link but from song writing to melody to flow to hook game to rhyme scheme he’s objectively gotten better since 2013 lol
He’s technically in his prime rapping wise
Champagne Poetry
Race My Mind
N 2 Deep
Half of HNVM
Middle of the Ocean
None of those are touching his old peak songs besides Middle of the ocean honestly
Started from the bottom like a C-tier Drake song compared to some of his newer stuff

Crazy as hell boy
Drake hasn't even begun to peak. And when he does peak, you'll know. Because he's gonna peak so hard that everyone in Toronto's gonna feel it.
Race My Mind suuuuucks
Iwantedutoracemuh mind
I got the
Stop fishing for a melody, it sounds like you’re making it up on the fly lol
in terms of pure rapping i think hes at his best yet, in terms of how his albums rank though i would disagree
nah, he still makes fire music but he was crazy consistently great on 2011-2015. the boy had so much to say on those years
fair trade sucks man esp with travis bin laden from al qactus dropping another awful feature
Never understood why some of y’all don’t like his part
I thought he smoked that s*** 🤷🏽♂️
Some of you will never be satisfied with Drake's music because instead of accepting it for what it is, you keep expecting it to be something it simply isn't.
You won't be getting the "mature, grown-up" Drake songs (whatever the f*** that is) anytime soon. Doesn't mean he ever stopped making great music. There's more than a handful of songs Drake has made in the last 3 years alone that are better lyrically, performance-wise and even production-wise than most of what he released a decade ago but because you're used to the content now, all y'all do is s*** on it and call it weak/wack which is stupid considering how damn near every rapper raps about the same exact s*** but somehow, Drake is the only one who should operate by a different standard.
At least Drake is always experimenting with new flows, new melodies and giving you overall new vibes with each new album — something most of his peers aren't doing.
i unironically think HNVM has some of his best music, it's just different.
the subject matter he has now just isn't touching the stuff he was writing about in his prime. his pen was much more detailed, now its a lot more surface level. idk how someone can listen to Middle Of The Ocean then listen to The Ride and think they're comparable.
Emphasis on songs not albums necessarily (although i like the recent output) but songs like fair trade, a keeper, privilege rappers etc
Quite literally an artist in his prime which is wild
idk
Drake has so many Classic moments
I appreciate where he is now but I also feel like Drake as a singer isn't as great as he was in the past
it might just be nostalgia be convincing me though
He became a better rapper in a lot of ways over the past few albums
DLDT, CLB and Her Loss have so many songs where Drake is in a whole different bag, Scary Hours 2 is better than a lot of people's albums
just think Early Drake was less formulaic

Scary hours 3?
He’s mastered all the hip hop fundament and taking the melodic stuff further than ye, pharell, andre etc
andre? Have you heard Happy Valentines Day?
