He’s not taking the melodic stuff further than the people you listed

    Delusional

None of are in Drake’s league melodically

I love all 3 but don’t be a stan, be objective

They are all extremely pitchy and their catalog of great songs with all singing is no where near as deep

Do any of them have a Marvin’s Room or Not You Too? Stop the cap

the song wasn’t all that to begin with it’s a run of the mill drake song then it has a garbage beat switch for no reason

  • DiorRunners

He’s making great music still but it’s not near his prime stuff. At least for me

  • Nov 20, 2022
    Maartins

He’s mastered all the hip hop fundament and taking the melodic stuff further than ye, pharell, andre etc

Culturally maybe but not musically lmao

It's a meme at this point but an album of 10 tracks by 40 and him would be his best work without doubt

Your opinion but I don’t agree

  • He's making great music right now because well...he's a goat.

But the best songs of his career? IMO no.

I do think Honestly Nevermind was a step in that direction though, not so much Her Loss.

Songs like A Little Bit, Let's Call it Off, Marvin's Room, are a bit more challenging and genre bending than what he's doing right now.
