Old Jeff had edge
I can't believe New Jeff would hurt someone like Old Jeff would

The continuity alone f***s me up with the recast but facts OG Jeff was creepy and sinister af. New Jeff seems like a puss
That guy looked and carried himself like such an unpredictable nut job. This new guy an npc lmao
!!
Jerry from parks and rec blessing us in this episode
knew he looked familiar
This is the fly of the series I see it now
You either love it or hate it
This is exactly what I was thinking the whole time I was watching it lmao
Feel like it was just there to check in on Gene/give more depth to Jimmy at this moment in his life since it’s been a minute since we last saw him.
Feel like it will be great on a rewatch of the season/series, but as we’re watching this season unfold right now on a week to week basis, this is absolutely BRUTAL from a pacing standpoint. Especially after how last week’s episode ended.
Man how tf is Walt and Jesse going to fit into this
I wonder if that was a trojan horse to get people to watch and they're not even in it
Also, no shots whatsoever to the new Jeff actor cause I really do think he was fine, and I highly doubt that anyone would have said anything about his performance had he been Jeff from the start, but this is one of the extremely rare f*** ups by Peter and Vince for BCS.
This episode was so centered on Jeff, and they should have known how extremely jarring it would be to have a completely different actor play Jeff who gave a totally different interpretation (and again no shots at the actor, cause it’s ridiculous to ask an actor to play a part the exact same way that another actor played it — it would have been weird if he tried doing that too). The switch up just totally took me out of the world of the show every time he came on the screen unfortunately.
Carol Burnett was such a joy to watch on screen with Bob though, that was so awesome.
does anybody else think Saul purposefully set himself up by getting Jeff and his friend to do the robbery?
Mutually Assured Destruction
Gorgeous score, great ep
Loved the opening title switch, and the fact that the opening credits are now just "Starring: Bob Odenkirk" and then the guest stars keeps up on our toes, Twin Peaks season 3 style.
The end of the ep I feel it kinda clear though - Saul's gotten a taste of it all again, and he goes into the department store to gloat on another scam completed. He's back in the game, he's got that feeling again, and looking at those gaudy Saul clothes has got him wondering...
Pretty sure Carol Burnett confirmed she's in 2 episodes, and we had that little moment with her here where she mentions that Jeff "fell in with a bad crowd in Albuquerque"
My theory is that we return to the BB era in ep 11 (or more likely 12 imo, considering that's the one written and directed by Vince) and we discover that Jeff had some kind of involvement back then, setting up the final leg of the Gene story.
Can we talk about how amc + has the worst quality of any streaming service I’ve ever used
Any time there is a dark scene s*** becomes pixelated cause not enough bit rate
Any time there is a telephone wire or a fence the aliasing is so f***ing bad
Damn I was subconsciously thinking the video quality was kinda ehh in this episode but I didn’t even think about the fact that it was probably that trash app lmao
I wonder if that was a trojan horse to get people to watch and they're not even in it
I considered this too.
But it seems like a lot to have your team purposefully lie and just tell em to suffer through an angry internet mob when they find out they’ve been duped.
fam i havent watched the episode yet but literally the first thumbnail i see on youtube is a spoiler
